The Italian South Atlantic Airline (L.A.T.I)

by Marytn Cusworth

(published 2012)

This book brings together all the known information on this import short-lived airmail service. Martyn is constantly in contact with many of the world’s collectors of L.A.T.I. mail and together with their co-operation has been able to establish the postal rates to and from almost all the countries that routed mail via this service.

As well as the many rate tables, the book describes how and why the service came into existence, and the circumstances of its eventual demise. It illustrates the publicity material and other special stationery used on the service, and it shows all the special directional cachets that were used, organised country by country.

The book is illustrated throughout in colour with many examples of mail that travelled by this service.

The book is 98 A4 pages, spiral bound and is priced at £25 (plus P&P UK = £2.0, Europe = £6, ROW = £8):-
